Plan a safer, future-proof bathroom in Mansfield with accessible wet rooms, wheelchair-friendly level-access showers, walk-in baths and tailored adaptations for elderly and disabled customers.
Many Mansfield customers contact us when climbing into the bath has become uncomfortable, a shower tray feels unsteady or the room no longer provides enough space for a walking aid or helping hand. The right adaptation can make bathing feel manageable again without turning the room into a clinical space.
EverSafe Bathrooms provides free home design visits across Mansfield, planning accessible bathrooms for older residents, disabled people, wheelchair users and households preparing for changing mobility. Sons, daughters and carers are welcome to join the conversation so that practical concerns are understood from the beginning.
There is no single bathroom that suits everybody. We listen to the difficulties you are experiencing, assess the available space and recommend a practical solution that will continue to support you in the years ahead.
A fully level or step-free showering area can provide maximum usable space for wheelchairs, walking aids or assisted bathing. Options include slip-resistant flooring, hinged screens, seating and carefully positioned rails.

Replace a difficult bath or high shower tray with a low-entry shower, easy controls and comfortable seating. This can provide a safer, simpler option without converting the entire room into a wet room.
Explore walk-in showers →
Continue enjoying a relaxing bath without climbing over a high side. A watertight access door, supportive seat and optional rails can make getting in and out more manageable.
Explore walk-in baths →Families often begin searching after a near fall, a hospital stay or a gradual loss of confidence. It can be hard to raise the subject without making a parent feel that decisions are being made for them. Our home visit keeps the person using the bathroom at the centre of every choice.
Family members and carers can attend in person or join the discussion by phone. We explain the difference between low-entry showers, level-access wet rooms and walk-in baths, then consider access, maintenance, budget and how needs could change over time.
More confidence, comfort and dignity during everyday bathing.
Clear advice and reassurance that the right risks have been considered.
Layouts that can provide better working space and safer assisted bathing.
Small details make a major difference. We select and position every feature around the way you move, reach, transfer and bathe—not simply where it is easiest to install.
We manage the project from the initial conversation through to completion, keeping you informed and reducing disruption wherever possible.
We listen, measure the room and understand the difficulties you want to solve.
Your layout and features are chosen around mobility, comfort, style and budget.
You receive a clear proposal so you understand what is included before deciding.
We remove the old bathroom and manage the plumbing, flooring, finishes and installation.
We check the room with you, explain the fittings and remain available for aftercare.
Accessible does not have to mean clinical. Modern wall panels, attractive flooring, contemporary sanitaryware and carefully chosen fittings can create a warm, welcoming bathroom that supports independence without advertising disability.
During your design visit, we will discuss what you can manage now and what may be helpful later. Planning ahead can help prevent another disruptive alteration if mobility changes in the future.

If you or somebody in your household has a qualifying long-term illness or disability, eligible bathroom adaptations may qualify for 0% VAT. The rules depend on the person and the work, so we explain the declaration clearly rather than assuming eligibility.
Mansfield residents may also wish to ask their local council about a Disabled Facilities Grant. Work should not normally begin before grant approval, and the council or occupational therapist will decide what is considered necessary.
For privately funded installations, finance may be available subject to status and affordability. Your quotation will be based on the room and adaptations discussed during the home visit.
Our Mansfield wet-room project shows level access, contrasting flooring, practical storage and planned ventilation. The Mansfield Woodhouse shower project shows how seating and a pumped-waste solution helped lower a difficult shower entrance.

The cost depends on the room, the chosen products and the level of adaptation required. Following a free home assessment, we provide a clear quotation for the design discussed with you.
