Fixed glass, hinged care screens, weighted curtains and portable gates—chosen around access, water control and the way the bathroom will actually be used.
A walk-in wet room may suit a clean fixed panel. Assisted showering often benefits from a half-height hinged screen, while a weighted curtain or portable carer gate keeps access flexible. We match the screen to the floor, shower position and the person using it.
The same fixed panels, curtains, accessible screens and portable gates are presented together so products align consistently without blank columns or broken card rows.
8mm easy-clean tempered safety glass at 1950mm high, supplied with a chrome wall profile and support bar for a simple open wet-room layout.
8mm easy-clean glass with a factory-matched 300mm hinged flipper. It turns through 180° to improve splash control without closing the entrance.
The standard 8mm fixed panel can use Eastbrook’s 605mm ceiling support bar instead of a conventional horizontal wall brace—useful where the wall position needs a cleaner top fixing.
A vertical square pole fixes at the outer end of the 8mm glass and runs up to the ceiling, removing the need for an overhead wall bar. Suitable for ceilings up to 2500mm.
A floor-to-ceiling round pole at the glass edge includes a shaped hand hold for extra stability when entering or leaving the shower.
Washable woven-polyester curtain with a weighted hem, designed for frequent use in accessible and level-access showering.
A lighter everyday curtain for shower enclosures and care-screen sets. The standard 1800×1800mm size is supplied with many AKW enclosures.
A robust, shatterproof care screen with inward/outward opening, strong magnetic seals and a layout chosen to suit left- or right-hand access.
A two-sided half-height enclosure for larger wet-floor footprints. Supplied with curtain and rail for improved splash control during assisted use.
Twin bi-fold panels open inwards or outwards for wide access. Supplied with a curtain and rail, with made-to-measure options for unusual layouts.
A freestanding care screen that can be folded and moved when the shower is not in use—ideal where permanent panels would restrict transfers.
The screen is selected after considering the floor, shower direction, transfer space and whether assistance is needed now or may be useful later.
Coved safety vinyl needs a compatible coved wall profile; tiled floors and trays use the square alternative.
We preserve wheelchair, frame and carer space before deciding where any fixed or hinged panel should sit.
Shower angle, pressure and room size determine whether a flipper, curtain or second panel is helpful.
Handles, handing and opening direction are agreed around the person—not simply the catalogue drawing.
We can measure the space and recommend the safest practical layout.
