Real Bathrooms, Real Transformations
Mary is a resident of a building which has 60 flats. Bathing was a struggle before due to having an old low cast iron bath. With respect to other residents, we were able to remove the old bathroom and transform into a low anti-slip shower tray with a supported shower seat to bathe in comfort with a concealed toilet, large cabinet for medicines and wall and ceiling panels with new lights.
Rosalinda previously had a cast iron bath in which she struggled to climb in and out of on a daily basis leaving her bathing time a chore, not an enjoyment. We removed the old bath and fitted a compact walk-in bath to enable Rosalinda easy access with a shelf seat to support her due to having arthritis and a hip replacement. Bathing is back to being an enjoyment!
Roberts Wife Linda had experienced an unexpected accident and needed an urgent transformation to assist her needs for bathing. The previous bathroom was removed and a wide shower seated wet room installed with disability blue flooring to easy sight guidance
George and Rita both missed their bathing due to arthritis and the struggle of getting in and out of the bath in a small bathroom. A compact walk-in bath was fitted which has a shelf seat allowing them to get back to bathing and soothing the joints in a long missed bath.
Edith previously had a high entry shower tray due to inaccessible waste without a full floor removal. We installed a low threshold anti-slip tray with a shower seat utilising a pumped waste which allowed Edith to save cost without having to redo the whole bathroom.
Peter was looking for a luxury transformation with a low entry shower. A luxury bathroom is what he got with a marble tile, floating basin and a free standing bath as well as a concealed comfort height toilet.
Janice needed a bath lift to help with getting in and out of the bath, We installed a walk-in bath with a built in lift to aid up and down, surrounded by wall panels, rails, ceiling to floor grab bar for support, shower and floor. This adaptation will help Janice bathe oomfortably and independently.
Thomas needed a wheelchair accessible transformation for his wife Christine as well as for himself due to arthritis. We removed the old bath and installed a wet room dual opening gates and a shower curtain to allow them the freedom of movement they needed to bathe comfortably with assistance. Independence restored.
